Trollbeads is generally known for their fantasy and gothic aesthetic but they also have some very nice family charms. When I was pregnant last year I started to collect a few of these, and I’m excited to showcase the bracelet I made with them today. I generally play more with my Trollbeads based on color/glass beads rather than focusing on silvers so this is a change for me. But it’s a gorgeous bracelet and I’m very happy to be wearing something special this Sunday.
I concentrated on a baby blue theme rather than the traditional pink since I had a boy. The silvers I picked are Expectation, Paternity, Maternity, Family, his initial A, and other love theme charms. Paternity and Maternity are hard to differentiate, but you can see that Maternity has extra bits around the chest ;). Family shows two figures with a baby carriage and is vertically cored.
These designs are more classic and streamlined rather than boasting too much detail. Most Trollbeads are small core and do not fit on threaded bracelets like Pandora. The lovely folks at Trollbeads sent me the Initial A and Baby Boy beads when I had Alex and I was incredibly touched – so thanks again! Do you have a family themed bracelet?
