More fall news today as Story by Kranz & Ziegler have unveiled their collection for this season! Story Fall/Winter 2013 Collection is up on their Danish website, but has yet to hit US retailers. What follows is a full preview of their bracelet and charm selection for this release. There are a number of new buttons, charms, and spacers, not as many new shades of leathers as we’ve seen in the past, and undoubtedly the focus of the collection is on the new interchangeable link bracelets.
The new link bracelets are similar in style to the traditional charm bracelet, but with a modern twist. These links can be purchased individually as a set of 2 with lobster clasp mechanisms to hook onto the next segment. Each link is 95DKK/$19USD if you want to mix and match or can be purchased as a complete bracelet for 795DKK/$149USD. The links are actually steel rather than silver, I assume to keep the costs down, and are available in stainless steel, rhodium-plated steel, and gold-plated steel. I am so happy to see that Story has kept their magnetic clasp system with these as well, for easy use. All the charms (dangles) are compatible with this style and they look great on their own or stacked with the leathers.
Their signature leather bracelets have 3 new additions, 2 in the traditional buttery soft lambskin leather and 1 in the chic snakeskin leather. Story is also introducing 5 new shades to their pearl bracelets; they are so elegant to wear and super versatile as they’re long enough to wear as necklaces too. The darker colors are suitable for the colder weather and the deep shades are so yummy!
The charms coming out for this collection are also exceptional; the highlight for me are the tube charms called Show Stopper and Limelight in the US. They’re dazzling and fully live up to their name, with Show Stopper available in silver, blackened rhodium, and gold finish, and Limelight available in silver and gold. I absolutely cannot wait to get these sparkly delights! The other charms complement the tube pieces perfectly as there is a strong geometric and pavé theme to them. Almost all of them are available in silver, black rhodium, or gold finish.
For those wanting to get started with Story, this season they’re offering a new starter bracelet set which includes the double strand triple wrap black lambskin leather with a unique pearl shaped button (silver, rhodium, or gold) that cannot be purchased otherwise. I’ve gotten a couple of my bracelets as starter sets, they’re very economical and a great introduction to the brand. Click on the link to to find your nearest Story by Kranz & Ziegler retailer. The selection of jewelry for all major brands this fall has been unparalleled and while it’s been a delight to peruse these designs, it has done terrible damage to my bank account! What do you think of this collection? Is it enough to get you hooked on Story?
