Story by Kranz & Ziegler Brown Pearl Bracelet

story-by-kranz-ziegler-autumn-winter13-preview12Story by Kranz & Ziegler recently launched their Autumn/Winter 2013 Collection in Denmark a few weeks ago. Not all markets have received this release though, including the US as we’re still anticipating the charms and bracelets getting to retailers. The lovely folks at Lovelinks America, the US distributor of Story, have kindly sent me a few samples to review* from the collection, including one of their new products – the multi-strand colored pearl bracelet.

The collection introduces 5 new pearl colors to the line, to the existing white pearl bracelet, and includes Eggplant (black/purple), Kerosene (blue), Pink, Brown, and Olive Green.  This post focuses on the Brown Pearl Bracelet, which is a cognac/sherry color.  There are 5 strands of tiny cultured pearls strung tightly together, and like most of the Story bracelets, they wrap around 3 times.  As with all the bracelets in this brand, the closure is a magnetic clasp and the charms can be placed on them for a snug fit.  The pearls feel very durable and these bracelets are incredibly versatile as they can be used as a necklace as well.  Story charms generally come in 3 different finishes: silver, oxidized, and gold, and I have to say that the gold goes best with this shade of brown.

Pearls are such a refined statement piece and they never go out of style. Story by Kranz & Ziegler are the perfect jewelry accessory as they can be used as beautiful bracelets or elegant necklaces. The size of Story bracelets are listed as the full length, so to choose your size just divide the total centimeters by 3 to get your normal bracelet circumference. To find your nearest retailer, check out the store locator on the Lovelinks website.  I’m very enamored with this brand and their innovative take on traditional materials.  Brown goes wonderfully with the fall season, which color is your favorite from this set?  What do you think of the pearl bracelets?

How do pearls get colors like “pink” and “olive green”?

    • Leann

      I believe they’re dyed :).

I have to say this: I wasn’t too interested in these ones until I saw them in person and had a play around!! They are fantastic!!!

I’m looking for the petrol blue for a ‘midnight stars’ themed bracelet with the new dark blue leather. Such pretty colors!

Great idea! Lots of geometric themed charms and buttons with this collection :). I’ve got my eye on the dark blue myself, it will go great with denim.
