Persona Spring 2015 Collection – Dreamland

persona-spring-2015-coverPersona is launching their latest collection for spring 2015 called Dreamland.  As is fitting for the time of year, this release focuses on the beauty of the season with gentle pastels, wonderful flora and fauna, and a few fun outdoor activities beads.  As is typical for this brand, these charms combine a number of different materials and textures, including sterling silver, crystals, enamel, and glass.  As the title suggests there’s an ethereal quality to these motifs and they certainly live up to this collection’s name.

The colors are centered around blue, purple, and green with a hint of yellow in this release.  I love flower charms so the roses definitely strike my fancy.  I also adore the whimsy of the balloons, bicycle, and the picnic basket.  Persona charms have large cores and are compatible with other brands.  They can be purchased from their official website, or major retailers like Zales and Gordon’s Jewelers.  Do you like these themes?

The little hinged picnic basket is very cute.

That caught my attention too! 🙂

I agree Martha. The picnic basket is adorable! 😀

Hmmm.. One of those beads looks an awful lot like RBF’s Heart of Roses…. o_O

      My thoughts exactly

    • Leann

Yes it does. But most of the brands design their collection way ahead of time (sometimes 1-2 years before) and it’s funny how a lot of the same motifs show up at the same time across the different brands.

Yes, Tia. It does resemble the RBF Heart of Roses. I like the Persona one better, though. It shows stems and leaves, and the top is more rounded, less heartish looking. I think this bead has presence, yet will blend well with others on a bracelet.

3-bird family and the picnic basket are very tempting, especially the first one.

But I really wish that they did not do the enamel at all. I love all silver beads though colorful will be fun.

    • Leann

Yes, I agree…I’m not a huge of all enamel charms either but a bit here and there for added detailing is nice :).
