Persona Life is a Journey Collections

persona-wedded-bliss-motherhood-collections-coverPersona is continuing their spring collections with two new releases for Mother’s Day and the upcoming wedding season. These charms are targeted towards commemorating the special events in our lives.  A couple of the biggest milestones in my life has been getting married and having a child so the designs really resonate with me.  The collections are called Motherhood and Wedded Bliss and were released last week in select retailers stores across North America and online.

The Motherhood collection is a mix of new and current charms in the Persona line.  My favorites are the Super Mom trophy and the mother and baby whale beads.  These are so poignant and adorable, they’re great for celebrating Mother’s Day!  The Wedded Bliss collection is all new and includes some really cute pieces including the animal couples, wedding dangles, and calla lilies.

Persona has large diameter cores and can fit on all bracelet brands including Pandora.  They can be found at Zales and Gordon’s Jewelers, or online on their official website.  What do you think of these collections?

Nothing here for me this round, although I am definitely a Persona fan–with two bangles, five silver beads and a triple wrap leather bracelet that I also wear as a necklace. I look forward to their future releases.

That’s great to hear! I’m a sucker for anything wedding related so I do like these ;).

The whales mommy and baby bead is on my list. I am surprised Persona beads never drawn a lot of attentions. Actually they have a lot of nice beads.

I think you’re right! 😉 They’re definitely getting better and better.

I can’t believe how this brand always gets away with closely copying Pandora. Look at that baby carriage charm (which has been a Pandora charm for many years). It’s an EXACT replica. And some of the others may not be exact copies, but sure do seem like a rip off – that mom spacer? Bears hugging? Clinking champagne flutes?

Every other brand seems to do just fine keeping their own asthetic, concepts, and ideas. Camilla, Redbalifrog, Ohm, Trollbeads – all different and interesting in their own ways. So why does this brand insist on being a knockoff Pandora brand instead of developing their OWN look?!

Persona on left, Pandora on right.

Laura – many companies do the same designs, haven’t you noticed? It’s up to the customers to decide which version they like best.

Wow, you are not kidding, Laura Summers, they certainly look the same! You would think they would want to be their own “man” so to speak. They maybe are cheaper than Pandora and figure they’ll go with that? I am not a fan of this brand, so I don’t give it another thought, I just pass on by 🙂

Hmmm….I agree Laura. No originality whatsoever. It appears that they are attempting to imitate Pandora and perhaps Chamilia as well. Pandora is associated with classic design and understated elegance. There is just no comparison! :/ Perhaps they are appealing because they are somewhat more affordable?
