Pandora Essence Spring/Summer 2015 Preview

pandora-essence-spring-summer-2015-coverFollowing the sneak peek of the Pandora Essence Spring/Summer 2015 beads, today we have a comprehensive preview of the designs including prices!  This release is scheduled for March 12th, along with the regular Spring 2015 line.  There are 4 new designs and 8 alternatives to existing ones.  I’m glad to confirm that the colorful pavé beads will not be replacing their semi-precious gemstone counterparts but will be another option to them.

The pavé beads have cubic zirconia/crystals that match the colors of the existing characteristics except for Wisdom, Love, and Hope.  Wisdom has turquoise crystals which is rather pretty.  Love features 14K rose gold setting and pink opalescent crystals whereas Hope is made with yellow gold and white opaque crystals.  I’m partial to the silver beads and I’ll definitely be getting the Affection, Friendship, and new Happiness beads.

I like the expansion of the line with these additions and I’m very happy that the pavé designs will not be replacing the gemstones.  Although I’d love to see more characteristics represented, I guess it becomes difficult to find new attributions after a while.  Are you excited for these traits?  What do you think of the new two-tone options?

  • Bonnie May

LOVE the new silver ones. I’d debated the old “Happiness,” but didn’t know how I felt about the CZs. I think the interlocking knots of Friendship is perfect, and the pattern on Affection is very cool! I kinda like the pattern on Appreciation, but don’t know if I love the CZs, and I am definitely glad they aren’t retiring the gemstones in favor of the paves. I like the idea of the two-tones, but I think that almost $200 is awfully steep considering how much of the gold is covered by crystals. 🙁

    • Leann

I like the new beads! I don’t really care for the pave versions of the current characteristics though. I agree with you about the gold beads. 🙁

  • Lozzie

I love my Essence bracelet. Hopefully, I can do a second Essence bracelet using the existing charms because I am not a fan of these new releases. Shame Pandora had to go bling on the Essence line too.

I preferred the crystle hope, love, balance, loyalty, etc. :/

I preferred the crystle hope, love, balance, love etc :/

They will still be around too – the gemstones are staying!

      • charley

Oh thank god- I have fallen in love with those charms. Such elegance, what you’d expect from pandora.

    • Leann

I know, at least they’re not retiring the gemstone beads!

I’m really into the non sparkly pave look in wisdom, love and hope, very cool. The appreciation one is cool as well, but its a weird meaning. It’s definitely something that would have to be bought for you IMO haha!

    • Leann

I agree, I like the non-pave ones too!

  • Laura Summers

The appreciation charm is meant to resemble flowers (such as those given for a thank you gift).

  • Clarissa

The display picture made me think that they were going to make a bangle for essence.

    • charley

      I wish…

    • Leann

Ooh, that’s a great idea! They might in the future :).

  • Jackie

At first I wasn’t sure if I liked essence but now I love all the charms! I love the new “love” one. I think I will get that one and get the bracelet for free during the promo!

    • Jackie

Can people post pics of their essence bracelets so I can get an idea of which beads go well together? I’ve seen lots of regular bracelets but no essence. Thanks so much!

I love my Essence beads and it’s not because of what they supposedly represent! I love the stones themselves! The Obsidian is unique, the moonstones are elegant, even the quartz is beautiful. I wish they would forget the pave and realize that some people just like the natural stones/gems and don’t want the bling!
