Pandora Cruise 2015 Announced

pandora-cruise-2015-announcementAfter months of anxious waiting, the next Pandora Cruise has been announced! Mark your calendars for April 12th -19th 2015 on board the Celebrity Silhouette. This is a departure from Royal Caribbean Cruise line that has held the past 3 cruises so that’s interesting. Registration has not opened yet so I’m curious to see what the prices will be.

The cruise will be an East Caribbean route and will travel from Fort Lauderdale to San Juan Puerto Rico, St. Kitts, and St. Maarten before returning back to Fort Lauderdale. Unfortunately with my bundle of joy arriving at the end of the year, we’re not planning to go but with the program being so similar in the past few years, it’s no great loss. Are you excited this news? Are you hoping to go next year?

  • nelia

not sure i can go this year, a lot has happened since the last cruise in my life so its a wait and see for me but i really do want to go, had a great time and met wonderful people, and i am sure you`ll be pretty busy enjoying your new little baby

    • Leann

I won’t miss it! We’ll definitely have our hands full ;).

  • Simone Amadee

I’m amazed it isn’t a Disney cruise! And not sure why they are not going with RCCL & instead choosing another line. I’m not planning on going and tbh, by jumping around with different cruise lines, it’s hard to build up loyalty points to get to the next level. 🙁 Also, if the program is a repeat of the last 3….. 🙁

    • Nicole Rostock Conrick

      I agree with you!

    • Leann

Me too, I like Royal Caribbean. The itinerary hasn’t changed much in the last 3 years so I’m not hopeful that there’s anything special being done for next year!

    • Velma

The Disney Cruise Line!!! OMG that would be great. I would be the first to sign up.

      • Leann

I wish too! I might have been tempted if it was Disney ;).

    • Donna Lobel

Disney doesn’t do groups any longer.(they don’t need to) And the prices would be much higher but in theory it makes sense since the new partnership.

      • Leann

        Ah makes sense. 🙂

  • June Simpson

I agree with Simone’s comments about loyalty points and about the program.

  • June Simpson

prices at Celebrity’s website for this cruise start at $799 for an inside cabin – to $2200 for a suite. The cruise is from Fort Lauderdale and going to San Juan PR, St Kitts, and St Martin.

    • Leann

Is that about the same as last year?

  • mlang1020

My husband and I would love to go on this cruise but neither one of us are people who like to dress up. When attending the events do you have to dress up?

    • Nicole Rostock Conrick

We didn’t dress up at all when we went! 🙂

      • mlang1020

Thanks for your answer Nicole. Might have to go.

    • Leann

There are a couple formal nights but only if you eat in the main dining room. There are lots of different restaurants on board though that you can eat at.

      • mlang1020

        Thanks.

  • RoseAnne Munson

What bundle of Joy???? Whoo hooo Leann!!! Congrats 🙂

    • Leann

You must have missed my announcement ;). Thanks!

  • Francine

Leann, I am reading you and it sounds like you were just a little disappointed with this last cruise. Am I correct??? Also, noticed that you did not post a lot of cruise pictures this time.

    • Leann

Yes, it was rather disappointing but mainly because they had the same program for the past 3 years. We went more because we love to cruise and not so much for the Pandora part. I live-blogged through the first 2 cruises and it was rather stressful and a lot of work; since I have to use my vacation days to go on the cruise, I wanted it to be a real vacation this year so didn’t blog as much :).

  • Trisha

    CONGRATS LEANN!!!!

    • Leann

      Thank you :D.

  • Cilia

    Oh congrats Leann!

    • Leann

      Thanks, Cilia! 😀

we planned on it but not now that its with celebrity, we are RC people 🙂

    • Leann

      Aww, too bad :(.

  • Bonnie May

*sigh* And once again it’s the week AFTER my spring break. 🙁 I guess I’ll just have to hope they’re still running when I retire in 20 years or so…

    • Leann

Awww :(. That’s too bad! I think my next cruise will have to be a Disney one ;).

      • DisneyBlingMama

The magic age for a Disney cruise is 3 and they need to be fully potty trained. There is daycare for the kids under age 3 at the nursery, but space is limited, you have to reserve it ahead of time, and there’s an extra fee. All kids ages 3+ have daycare (aka. Oceaneer’s Club) included for free, and the Club is open until 11pm which is great for those of us that have kids and want to have a night out without them. They even feed them meals inside the Club.

No need to be upset over the cruise line switch Celebrity is owned by RC so you can still earn loyalty points and the ships are actually a step up.

    • Leann

      Good point!

  • Sharene

I’ve never been on a cruise. Personally I’m afraid. Being out with nothing but water around you for MILES scares me. I think of Pirates. Too many movies, I know. Plus, Heaven only knows how much $ something like that would be. Is this a women/girls only or do Husbands/Significant Others attend this?

    • Leann

Haha, it’s a lot of fun though! Think of it as a floating resort ;). Men are welcome too, although they don’t seem as interested in the activities. I think the age group is pretty varied, but probably around 30-40 year olds.

This is some more info on registration 🙂

Why hasn’t this been released yet. I attempted to contact the email you listed and the address doesn’t work.

      • Leann

The Pandora Cruise info was just announced today. You have to use the contact form if you’d like to email me.

      • atiyah9369

I ended up going to the pandora page after I posted this and saw the cruise info. I am booked. Thanks.

I’m surprised they’re doing this cruise at that date because the ship is chartered by a Canadian group. Celebrity has given some of their cruise dates to Canadian cruisers as a fully inclusive cruise, available only to Canadians, so quite frankly, I’m shocked that Pandora is doing this particular cruise. Actually, all of Silhouette’s April cruises are part of this all inclusive Canadian package. I don’t see how Pandora can get enough cabins to satisfy their clients. And, I’m a very frequent Celebrity cruiser and I was thrilled that Pandora was doing this cruise, but now, there’s no way I would consider it.
