An incredibly bittersweet ending yesterday as the Pandora Unforgettable Cruise drew to a close. We started the day off with the Pandora Jeopardy workshop; a lot of ladies have been anticipating this contest to show off their knowledge about the brand. Last year, there were some in depth questions regarding the company and the product but this year’s was run completely different. The questions solicited subjective answers so it was much more friendly to beginners. The teams of 10 each had a remote control clicker and whoever rang in first would get to answer. As there really weren’t any wrong answers, whoever could click in first got the points. The team with the most points won and received an awesome leather Pandora luggage tag and passport cover set along with a pink umbrella. The runners up received the luggage tag and passport as well.
The next workshop involved a question and answer session. Many fans offered suggestions for specific charms, and some people had issues about promo items and packaging. A question close to my heart was regarding the loyalty program and we receive a guarded “we’re testing it out in certain markets” answer, so nothing definitive there but I would love to see a rewards membership put in place. There were hints that something special might be in store for Pandora Club members later this year so I can’t wait to see what that may be!
We ended the night with the farewell cocktail party and boy was it different than last year. There were so many people, we could hardly fit in the same picture. Drinks were served and many raffle prizes were given out. A fair number of fans won promo items and there were also 10 jewelry prizes containing a bangle and a charm from the new summer collection. The promo items included play trays, towels, signed Pandora hardbound look books by the designers, a couple of the special mugs, more passport holders and luggage tags, and goodie bags with multiple items. For those that didn’t luck out with the raffle, they received umbrellas and canvas totes so it’s nice that everyone got something. My husband actually won the last jewelry prize which was a bangle and the new teal fascinating Murano (pictures to come); I couldn’t be more tickled!
We had a busy night packing and got ready for an early disembarkation off the ship. The last couple of days seem to have flown by and we’re waiting for the long plane ride back to Seattle. I’ve had so much fun this year with meeting new people and catching up with friends, it was hard to say goodbye. I hope you’ve all enjoyed the cruise with me and I’ll be posting a recap with more pictures once I get home!
