I can’t believe how quickly this month has flown by this year and tomorrow is Christmas! With the lateness of Thanksgiving this year, I have been waiting to break out my holiday bracelets until December and now I’m trying to get as much wear out of them as I can this season. With the abundance of Christmas themed charms in the recent Pandora Winter 2014 Collection, I couldn’t resist creating another festive bracelet.
Last year, I got the 12 Days of Christmas set and made my first holiday bracelet featuring those charms and a couple more classic pieces. I ended up having a few leftover beads which I put on a red leather but I really prefer the silver chains to the leather. I was happy to see more additions this season and managed to make another full Christmas bracelet. As with my other holiday combination (which I haven’t changed at all, pictured below), this one is also predominantly red with a splash of white, rather than the traditional red and green.
I added the Red Effervescence as well as the Wildflower Tribute for color. Otherwise, I stuck to a very classic theme and included Nativity scene charms like the Camel, Holy Family, and the Silent Night. But I also have the more modern fun Christmas charms like the Carolers, Christmas Bear, Sparkling Surprise, Jolly Santa, Letter to Santa, and Santa’s Elves. There are also seasonal favorites like Christmas Pudding and Happy Snowman which have heavy enamel coating. The new Christmas charms have a lot more detail than their older Christmas charms and that’s evident in the aesthetic.
My favorite is probably the vibrant Red Effervescent Murano and the exclusive Wildflower Tribute Murano which pairs very nicely together. This year’s Black Friday Charm, Christmas Wish, complements the Christmas Ornament and I’ve already featured it in its own review. Have you gotten any Christmas charms from the recent release? I’d love to see your Christmas/holiday/winter bracelet creations, so please feel free to share them in the comments!
