It’s been a long time since I covered the Pandora Muranos and today I’m returning to the series with a feature on the Bubbles Collection. This was a brand new design when I first started collecting Pandora and one of my all time favorites because of the lovely and large number of colors. Pandora has been retiring their glass beads at a very aggressive pace and unfortunately most of these colors are now retired with only the purple and blue still available.
The full range of these colors include: purple, pink, green, clear (with purple spots), coffee (with salmon spots), cinnamon, blue, yellow, black, and red; these are pictured above and the photo is courtesy of Dian Sutanto. Most of these are rich shades and easy to pair with other glass except the clear, coffee, and cinnamon Bubbles. In the stock photos, the clear Bubbles looks to sport black spots but they’re actually more purple. The cinnamon color is rather unique in the Pandora line and there’s not really other similar shades to match.
I’ve managed to collect this entire set and with the exception of the colors I just mentioned, they’re all on themed bracelets. My favorite is definitely the green and it’s a deep emerald shade perfect to match the charms that came out last fall. I have the yellow and purple Bubbles on my Alma Mater bracelet as it’s my school colors; the red I’ve used for my lucky red Chinese/family bracelet; the blue one on my travel bracelet (which used to be fairy tale themed); the pink on a Valentine’s Day bracelet I made last year; and the black Bubbles is on my Halloween bracelet.
I’d love to see more glass designs from Pandora as I like adding them for pops of color on my bracelets, but it seems like the selection is getting slim. Do you like this collection? Which color is your favorite?
