Ohm Beads recently released a small collection of charms for fall including the re-designed Seattle Humane Society (SHS) Animal Rescue dangle. Previously they had offered a glass bead in association with this organization, also called the SHS charm (now retired) which featured a red paw print with a heart pad. This is actually a local charity for me and as an avid animal lover, it’s one that I support every month so this is very near and dear to my heart. Ohm Beads has pledged 10% of all proceeds from this piece to go to SHS, and it’s such a lovely charm that it stands on its own aside from its charitable efforts.
The piece is a small dangle and has the SHS logo on the front highlight by dark oxidization. The bail is actually a pet collar and is such a fantastic detail. The back of the pendant is blank and there is space for a small engraving, such as a pet name or date. It’s the perfect charm to represent your pet and mine definitely reminds me of my baby, Beau.
This brand is compatible with all bracelet types, including Pandora. It can be purchased from the official webstore or Perlen for international fans (at the time of this posting, they are currently sold out but should receive stocks soon). To honor this charity, I’m also giving away one of these special dangles! Simply post a picture of your pet with your favorite bracelet in the comments below (along with a good contact email), and I’ll pick a winner. Entry is limited to one per person. Keep in mind that it takes a moment for the picture to load in the Disqus widget. This giveaway will run until 11:59pm EST on September 13th and please take a look at the contest rules before submitting. Are your pets represented on your charm bracelet?
