Ohm Beads January 2017 Collections

ohm-beads-year-of-the-cock-coverOhm Beads just launched their releases for January and they are mostly additions to current collections.  It’s shaping up to be another busy year for the brand and we should be seeing the same type of release schedule – about one debut date per month.  For January, there are new designs for the Rawr Collection, Your Faith Looks Familiar (YFLF), a new Bead of the Month, and two stand alone glass barrel beads called Fireball and Waterfall.

For the Bead of the Month, it’s the Year of the Rooster so of course as this month’s special BOTM it’s the Year of the Cock from Ohm Beads.  It’s extremely limited and only 555 pieces were produced.  It is a very ornate stylized rooster and has beautiful detailing.  Be sure to get it while it’s available to celebrate this zodiac year!

ohm-beads-rawr-2017-collectionOhm Beads has honored January’s Draw a Dinosaur Day for the past couple years with big bold dinosaur beads and this year they’re back at it.  Hatching, Baby Megalodon, and Boned are not as large as the previous designs but they are definitely recognizable as part of the Rawr Collection.  Hatching details the creation of the dinosaurs as it comes to life.  Baby Megalodon is a distant relative of the shark and this large jawed replica certainly makes that obvious.  Boned is more of a spacer and is a nice finishing touch to any dinosaur themed bracelet.

Your Faith Looks Familiar sees 3 new pieces to its collection as fully assembled bracelets made of real stones and a large silver medallion.  These are called Oneness with a mix of mother of pearl and onyx, Belief made of aventurine, and Beyond which is composed of sodalite.  These are elastic bracelets but come in 2 sizes (large and small).  Small is for people wearing 7.1″ (18cm) or smaller bracelet and Large is for people wearing 7.1″ (18cm) or larger bracelet.  They are so cool and complement any charm bracelet perfectly.

Lastly, there are two stand alone barrel glass beads called Fireball and Waterfall which are aptly named.  Waterfall is predominantly blue and you can see waves within the glass design.  Fireball features yellowish orange swirls in varying shades.  They’re beautifully classic and add a pop of color to any bracelet theme.

I can’t wait to see what Ohm Beads has in store for us this year!  Are you interested in any of these releases?
