The summer is winding down but before the warm weather leaves us, I wanted to share my favorite bracelet of the season. The color scheme is teal and built primarily around the Pandora Summer 2013 collection of beach and marine animals. My original teal bracelet was only my second project ever and was a bit of a mish mash when I created made it; being that teal was a strong theme for summer, I thought it was the perfect time to rework it. A number of the charms were purchased from the Pandora Unforgettable Cruise 2013, either in the Caribbean or with the redemption voucher for the summer collection.
I ended up with 6 Muranos even though I normally like to keep it to 4; the bracelet starts getting tight if I have any more than 4, so for this one I actually went up to a 7.9″ instead of my regular 7.5″. I find that the longer I’ve been wearing bracelets, the looser I like them to be. This is quite the jump from the 7.1″ size that I wore when I first started buying Pandora! I couldn’t decide which of the teal Muranos to leave off so I ended up with all of them on this chain; they’re interspersed with sea creatures (featured in my Pandora Marine Life Review) and other nautical themed charms. The only oddball is my mother/son piece of my heart – it was the perfect shade for this bracelet so I couldn’t resist! It also represents how much I miss my furry son when I’m on vacation. I am so happy at how this turned out!
Here is my video introducing my summer beauty. I’ll be able to remember how warm and lovely our Caribbean vacation was during the coming winter months. What’s been your favorite bracelet this summer? Please upload photos of your bracelets in the comments below, I’d love to see what everyone is into! 🙂
