My Pandora Teal Caribbean bracelet

pandora-teal-caribbean-bracelet1The summer is winding down but before the warm weather leaves us, I wanted to share my favorite bracelet of the season.  The color scheme is teal and built primarily around the Pandora Summer 2013 collection of beach and marine animals.  My original teal bracelet was only my second project ever and was a bit of a mish mash when I created made it; being that teal was a strong theme for summer, I thought it was the perfect time to rework it.  A number of the charms were purchased from the Pandora Unforgettable Cruise 2013, either in the Caribbean or with the redemption voucher for the summer collection.

I ended up with 6 Muranos even though I normally like to keep it to 4; the bracelet starts getting tight if I have any more than 4, so for this one I actually went up to a 7.9″ instead of my regular 7.5″.  I find that the longer I’ve been wearing bracelets, the looser I like them to be.  This is quite the jump from the 7.1″ size that I wore when I first started buying Pandora!  I couldn’t decide which of the teal Muranos to leave off so I ended up with all of them on this chain; they’re interspersed with sea creatures (featured in my Pandora Marine Life Review) and other nautical themed charms.  The only oddball is my mother/son piece of my heart – it was the perfect shade for this bracelet so I couldn’t resist!  It also represents how much I miss my furry son when I’m on vacation.  I am so happy at how this turned out!

Here is my video introducing my summer beauty.  I’ll be able to remember how warm and lovely our Caribbean vacation was during the coming winter months.  What’s been your favorite bracelet this summer?  Please upload photos of your bracelets in the comments below, I’d love to see what everyone is into!  🙂

My fav too!! All it needs is about 6-8 14k trinity spacers and the gold safety chain;)

    • Leann

Hehe, if I had the money! 😉

  • Maria

Love your teal bracelet! I just completed My first bracelet. I went with a brown theme.

    • Leann

Thanks, Maria! Brown is great too, especially for fall :D.

My favorite charm is the lion’s head, I can’t belive I got that! Think it’s been retired for 2 years now, but I’m no expert. 🙂

      • Nataly

Lovely bracelet! And what a great idea to finish bracelet with a clip. Do you had a rubber for clip? Thanks.

      • Maria

I put clips on both ends because I hate it when the charms get stuck on the threads. I’d like to add a spacer or a openwork, that’s not threaded, instead.
I didn’t have to add those rubber locks. But that’s a good idea to use if you want the clips to stay put when you don’t have a full bracelet. 🙂

      • Maria

        Thank you Nataly! 🙂

      • Leann

I don’t use a stopper under the clip either, there’s really no need if it’s full, and I like the beads sliding around when it’s not :).

      • Leann

So cute! I love all the animal charms, they’re the best :). The lion’s head is so ornate, it’s wonderful. Thanks for sharing your picture!

  • Maria

Captivating green and teal zen are not reired… Do you know more than I do?

    • Leann

Haha, sometimes the trivia gets jumbled in my mind. A bunch of the captivating was retired this year and I couldn’t remember which ones. But you’re absolutely right on the zen! I keep thinking those are retired too :P.

  • Kathrine

Love your bracelet! I have 6 on the go at the moment, a black and silver, fairy tale, two tone ,ocean, enchanted forest and a love/ red one. it’s nice to see other peoples creations, what a particular charm may mean to me means something different to some one else it’s enlightening to look at the same thing through different eyes
