My Pandora British themed bracelet

pandora-british-braceletIn the past few seasons there has been a number of British themed charms, including the Best of British Collection last summer, the destination charms, and the new beads from the Pandora Autumn 2013 Collection.  With these wonderful selections in addition to the limited edition charms released for the royal events and my British bracelet pretty much made itself.  I’m a big anglophile and creating this theme was so easy with the choices available.  I started with the British Medal and Double Decker Bus, as well as the Cricket Bat, Royal Wedding Charm, and Royal Baby Carriage.

Included in the current release are the Taxi, London Calling, and World’s a Stage.  Taxi represents the old-fashioned taxis that still operate there, and it reminds me of Sherlock Holmes reboot television show (UK version).  There’s even a union jack on the roof of the charm, which is such a cute detail!  London Calling, of course takes after the iconic red telephone booths and can be used by Dr. Who fans to represent the series.  Another union jack on this bead which is enhanced with pinkish red enamel, and lots of other detailed engraving on the structure.  I label the World’s a Stage as a British charm because it speak overwhelmingly to Shakespeare including a Hamlet quote inscribed on the top.  It is a comedy/drama mask and is actually an openworks bead which means that it’s not threaded.

pandora-globe-clipsI decided to add the Globe clips to this bracelet because it’s on my travel bucket list and I’d love to go some day!  The clips are exquisitely sculpted and included all the continents of the world.  I’m so glad Pandora decided to create these as they’re perfect for any jetsetter or someone wanting to represent a trip.  Joshua James Jewellery is a fantastic UK store and an authorized Pandora stockist; for a few more weeks until the end of October receive 10% off with the code:ADDICT10, unfortunately not on Pandora products though but they also carry Trollbeads, Chamilia, and Story by Kranz & Ziegler.

I’m so excited to introduce my British bracelet and all the wonderful British themed beads available from Pandora.  Do you have any of these beads?  Are you a fan of the British style?

    Hi Leann,
    This bracelet is absolutely beautiful.
I love muranos but there’s just something about a full pandora bracelet made entirely of metal beads that is just so attractive. I love your blog; thanks for all that you do! -B

Your British bracelet is lovely. I’d noticed there were a lot of British themed charms, i wonder why. I have never seen the cricket bat, it’s so cute, the game is boring though, you’re not missing much. The British Rose charm is so lovely, i plan to get for this years Remembrance Sunday.

Thanks, Samantha! Strangely enough, the cricket bat was only released in Australia. I’m not sure why it wasn’t available in the UK. Those are perfect choices! 🙂
