Macrow Exclusive Beads Halloween Collection Preview

Halloween has fast become one of my favorite holidays of the year, and I have had much more fun with it as an adult than as a child since I don’t eat much candy but I love beads!  When Macrow uploaded a preview of their latest Exclusive Beads Collection, I was hooked.  Their new spooky beads won’t be out until late September/early October but they’re so wonderful I couldn’t wait to share their designs.  I’m going to be doing Halloween bracelets and reviews for the whole month of October and I definitely want to get a few of these.

I absolutely adore all these creepy crawlies, and can’t wait to see them in person!  Most of the critters are applied on top of the glass, so there is a lot of texture too.  These glass beads have large diameter cores and can fit on all types of bracelets.  Most likely the price range will be between £13-17GBP similar to the rest of their line.  Are you looking forward to these as much as I am?

    Adorable! I love Halloween beads!

      Me too!! 😀

I love that midnight skies bead, not just for Halloween, and the bats, love bats!

    • Leann

Isn’t it so cool? The bats are going to be perfect with the Trollbeads Halloween collection too! 😉

These beads are exactly what I’m looking for in a Halloween design, Leann; perfect! I especially love the Jack O’ Lantern, Midnight Skies, both Bats, and Midnight Cat. Like another commenter observed, Midnight Skies would also be great for many other designs besides just Halloween. The price range is yet another selling point for me; *definitely* on my bead priority list! Thanks for the great review! Enjoy the long weekend, and take care…Kim

Fabulous! I’m so glad they’re up your alley. Definitely a great price on these, I can’t wait for Halloween. I’ve got so many bracelet ideas, it’ll be so much fun! <3

Do you like Chamilia’s Halloween release, Leann? I really want the Witch Way gift set and the Green-Eyed Black Cat; they’d be perfect with some of these adorable glass designs. I also can’t wait for Ohm’s Teddy Scares release in early October. That one’s probably what I’m most impatient for. I’m really looking forward to seeing all your Halloween bracelet designs, Leann! Just around the corner; fun-fun-fun! Nighty-night, and take care…Kim

I love them! I’m saving the Chamilia Halloween review until the end of the month, closer to Halloween. What do you think of the Teddy Scares characters? I can’t wait for Halloween too! 😀

I’ve always loved Halloween, child or adult, but have been working Halloween weekend the last several years, so I haven’t gotten very into the spirit of it. Definitely not enough to buy beads to make a bracelet. But with Troll’s new Bat lock, maybe… I could take or leave about half this collection, however I will have to have the midnight ones – the mouse is adorable, and the cat, skies & eclipse will be perfect for my “celestial” themed bracelet! Can’t wait to add my Flying Spaghetti Monster to it once it comes! 😀

Aww, that sucks you have to work on Halloween! I remember it was *always* raining when I would go trick or treating which took some of the fun out of it. But now I can just play with my beads all month long ;). The TB Halloween collection is at the top of my list this month! Love the scary themes. The Midnight Skies design is super versatile and will definitely be great for your celestial bracelet! 🙂

Thanks for the sympathy. It only sucks a little, since it is overtime, and it’s proctoring the Specialized HS exam for NYC students. Long days, but not terribly taxing and pays well. Unfortunately it’s precluded enjoying much of the holiday. And while I am working Nov. 1 at about 7am, I’ll still have some Halloween fun this year. Just getting around to checking out the beads now. I got really upset when I saw “sold out” on so many things, but then I remembered that they photograph each bead, so hopefully I’ll find a midnight skies available by page 3 or so! 😉

I don’t remember how much it rained when I was a kid, but in the Northeast it’s usually pretty cold by Halloween, so I was always annoyed at having to wear my coat over my costume. At least once they stopped making the plastic “apron” costumes with the cheap plastic masks that came in those square boxes (geez, remembering those makes me feel old). Those at least tied over my coat. 😀

I hope you found some! I know the Midnight Skies are the most popular and they had a special listing the next day (Saturday). I remember it was *always* cold and rainy on Halloween when I was kid so that would take a lot of the joy out of trick or treating as I’m not a fan of getting wet in my clothes, haha. I guess it’s not fun for the parents either, eh? 🙂

I think I purchase the orange bat and the spider from an Etsy store earlier today.

    • Leann

There are lots of artisan glass designers out there! 🙂

I love these Halloween beads, Leann! Thanks so much for sharing. Do you know of a U.S. vendor that carries these?

    • Leann

They’re fabulous! These designs are exclusive to Macrow, but there are other artisans who do Halloween designs I’m sure. Try Etsy.
