Happy Halloween, everyone! This ghoulish holiday is finally here and I’m so excited for it as I’ve been focusing on scary charms for the entire month. While Trick or Treating is mainly celebrated in the US, it’s quickly catching on in other countries so there’s quite a few options when it comes to celebrating with jewelry. I’ve mainly discussed Ohm Beads Dark Shadows Collection, Trollbeads Skeleton Spirit and Ghost Fighters, X by Trollbeads links, and *redbalifrog* charms this year. Pandora hasn’t come out with any new designs for Halloween in quite some time so I haven’t changed my bracelet around much, except maybe rearranged it a bit. I do love the new emerald green beads that came out for the fall so I experimented a bit and came up with this combination that spices up the traditional black and orange.
I wanted to feature some other bracelets for inspiration including a few official ones from Ohm Beads, Trollbeads, and *redbalifrog*. In addition to the Dark Shadows Collection, Ohm Beads already have an incredible selection of Halloween charms perfect for the occasion including: Vampire, Werewolf, Jack O’ Lantern, Halloween, Frankenstein, and retiring are the Female Vampire and Bride of Frankenstein. Trollbeads released a separate Halloween (Scary and Whimsical) collection last year which was made up of Inner Glow, Spider, and Pumpkin and they’re definitely my go-to beads for this holiday. *redbalifrog* also has a few skulls, Gargoyle, and Arthur the Cat which I didn’t have an opportunity to review this year but would complement the other Halloween charms perfectly.
Aside from Christmas, Halloween is probably my second favorite time of the year and I’m thankful so many jewelry companies recognize the occasion and have provided a wide range of options when it comes to beads. I’ve managed to make quite a few bracelet combinations, and I’ve included a look back at the ones I did in 2012 as well as a composite of the ones from this year. Do you love this holiday? What are you dressing up (and accessorizing with) tonight?
