Yesterday saw the 3rd Annual Inspiration Awards for Women 2013 which took place in London, England. These awards recognize women who inspire others through their efforts and achievements, both celebrities and everyday women. Past winners have included Victoria Beckham, Lady Gaga, Kate Winslet, Annie Lennox, and Adele to name a few. The goal is to promote positive female role models and the event also raises funds for the Breakthrough Breast Cancer organization.
byBiehl was the exclusive jewelry sponsor of the event last year and again this year, with their products being awarded to the winners. To honor these awards, Charlotte Biehl designed the Inspirational pod, and was a presenter for this year’s ceremony. The Inspirational pod features the female form logo of the Inspiration Awards with pink cubic zirconia. It’s simple and elegant, something that is the hallmark of this brand.
In addition to being made for the event, the Inspirational pod is also sold to fundraise money for the fight against breast cancer with 10% of the proceeds donated to international breast cancer research. The pod can be found on Perlen for $101; last year’s campaign included a bracelet as well, but it’s only being offered individually this year. In addition, byBiehl is participating in Denmark’s traditional Pink Saturday where stores all over the country will sell jewelry and pink ribbons in order to support breast cancer research. This is a great way to support Breast Cancer Awareness month and add something blingy to your collection as well.
