Alex and Ani America the Beautiful Collection

alexani-america-the-beautiful-cover2Just ahead of the 4th of July weekend and celebration, Alex and Ani is releasing a mini-collection called America the Beautiful.  Not only are their products made in the US, but Alex and Ani has a strong commitment to giving back to the community through their Charity by Design line.  This new collection honors Independence Day, or perhaps more accurately, is a good representation of the fireworks associated with this festive holiday.

Each of these bangles are named after lyrics in the song America the Beautiful, an anthem we all learn in grade school.  I’m excited to see not only gold and silver colors available here, but the introduction of rose gold as well.  However they’re not the matte finishes Alex and Ani usually uses but shiny metallic which makes them a bright accessory.  The bracelets all feature different etched details as well, and I can image that they stack incredibly well together.

Based on the previews offered on their Facebook page, I was pretty sure I was going to like the new pieces and they’re a big hit for me. They remind me of the gold etched floral Hawaiian bracelets that are so popular on the island. Alex and Ani are eco-friendly products made from recycled materials, and they’re very affordable at $28USD each. They can be purchased on the official website or my featured retailer, Smaxx and Kade. What are your thoughts about this collection? Do you like the new rose gold option?

Oh wow I think I’m going to like the addition of the rose gold . Will these be available at all stores that carry the line or just at the Alex and Ani stores ?

I went to my favorite store yesterday where they just started carrying Alex and Ani. They didn’t know about the America the Beautiful collection. I was pretty disappointed, but settled for some new Pandora charms instead! Ha! However, I feel I must have these, so I found them on the official web site and get them ASAP!

The company usually limits what retailers are able to carry, keeping the newest releases and a few special collections exclusive to A&A stores and online. I work at a shop that’s carried A&A for over a year and we’re constantly hearing about new product from customers first and we aren’t able to even order the items until a few weeks later.

Hehe. The shop-in-shops are usually a bit slower in getting in the new products :).

I would imagine it will be available at all stores that carry Alex and Ani. 🙂
