As I mentioned in my previous Story by Kranz & Ziegler red leather bracelet review, I fell back in love with these bracelets after seeing them in the Caribbean. During the Pandora Cruise, one of my friends had purchased a Story 6-strand, triple wrap leather and it was amazing! Especially after she added a few Pandora clips…it was the look I’ve always wanted with my Pandora leathers. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize this before we left the shops so as soon as we got home, one of the things on my to-do list was to find the multi-strand bracelet. Story offers a couple different starter sets in this style and I wanted the one with the daisy button. I went to my local retailer to try them on for size, and I was so disappointed that they didn’t have that particular bundle available.
I walked out with the heart button kit and the medium (57 cm = 19 cm) size. As with all their leather bracelets, this one is so comfortable to wear. I believe the multi-strand is regular leather, not lambskin, but because the strands are so thin, you can’t tell the difference when it comes to their softness. I have gotten so many compliments from strangers because it’s such a dynamic piece – they think that all the strands are wrapped separately. Aside from the buttery texture of these bracelets, their greatest advantage is the ease of putting it on, I just wrap it around my wrist and the magnetic clasp provides a secure hold.
My friend, Joyce, had the brilliant idea of adding Pandora clips to her Story bracelet and I loved it! I had to follow her lead and bought the multi-strand to do the same thing. Normally Pandora are NOT compatible with Story by Kranz & Ziegler because the leather is too thick to accommodate the charms, but only with the multi-strand can you add the clips. Two strands from this bracelet fits perfectly underneath the clips for a tight fit that won’t move. I used the clips from my Pandora 5-station clip bracelets and have I said it? I love this look!
I absolutely adore it, and much more than I thought I would from the pictures. I’m probably not going to be adding any more Story charms to this bracelet as it looks amazing with the clips and it is also great on its own. I call this style, rocker-glam as it’s glamorous with an attitude. If you haven’t checked out Story, I would highly recommend the multi-strand bracelet being the place to start. There are lots of colors to choose from and at $69USD, they’re well-worth your time!
