Trollbeads Fall 2012 Sneak Peek

Fast on the heels of the 2012 People’s Beads Spirituality collection comes the release of the 2012 fall/winter Trollbeads on August 24th!  Thanks to Endangered Trolls, we have a look at the offerings for this release.

In keeping with most of their seasonal releases, there are 2 color kits and a number of silver charms.  The colors reflect the changing of the seasons into autumn and cooler colors – specifically the coral kit and the indigo kit.  That is one thing I absolutely adore about TB is their glass sets, whether the colors are the same or complementary colors.  I really wish I had the time (and money!) to get into all the other colors that TB does so wonderfully, but with all the green OOAKs around, I’ve been kept quite satisfied with my bead-hunting.  ;)  Along with these kits, there are three additions to the TB gemstone collection – Zebra Jasper, Green Jasper, and Chalcedony.

[From left to right] Wave of Dreams, Blue Moonstone, Flower of Dawn, Cozy, The Eye, Traces

Playing Cards

Kicking off the silvers in this collection is the cute little deck of cards, which was actually introduced at the Trollbeads US Summer Sales Conference held back in June, at the glamorous Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The design for the charm was found amongst Lise Aagaard’s father’s belongings when she clearing out his things.  All the participants of the conference received this bead as a souvenir, but before TB collectors went wild for this potentially HTF charm, it was announced that it would be available worldwide with this fall’s release. This would be our only sneak peek into the fall/winter collection (until now) and with the wildly popular “dice” uniques that were also introduced at the sales conference, my thought would have been that this collection would have included other chance or gambling type charms, but the deck of cards seems to be the one-off.

There are a few charms that represent major life events included in this release – Marry Me, Family, and Dancing.  These are in keeping with the release of the all-silver Paternity, Maternity, and Expectation beads from fall last year (where the Paternity and Maternity was only available in the pricier two-tone versions before).  The rest of the silver beads look like a remake of the limited edition Chinese zodiacs released earlier this year (how these are limited, I have yet to find out, lol).  I did buy the LE pig zodiac earlier in the year, but I find that the disc shape really makes the design hard to decipher, so I actually prefer this rework of the design into a spherical shape.

Bavaria

Other than that there looks to be one last random bead; celebrating Oktoberfest, it’s Bavaria with the bead in itself a representation of the Bavarian flag.  There are definitely some must haves from this new collection for me!  I can’t wait for the release next week.  :)

I *love* the Troll Coin, it’s a great piece. Haven’t seen the Dreamcatcher yet, but it looks cool. I love the rosary bead too if you like the round disc look; and also the sun circle is awesome!
