Pandora UK promo and other news

The UK ladies have gotten quite a few GWPs lately and it just keeps getting better!  Right now authorized retailers are offering a free Pandora iPhone 4 case (also fits 4S) with a £99 purchase, available while supplies last. Unlike most promotions, this one is also being offered online at John Greed and Beadazzle for your shopping convenience.  This is a great deal (if you have an iPhone) since I’ve seen these cases, previously only to have been found in Australia and Singapore, go for around $50 on the aftermarket.  Prices have dropped as this promo item becomes more available, but I would still love to have it!  There’s also an iPad case and those go for $200 :O.

In other limited edition Murano news, I’ve heard that the yellow-spotted clouded leopard got recalled this week which will make these that much harder to find.  I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned this before, but these never made its way to the US as the production lines for each market/country are separate.  Europe and Australia for sure had them – in fact, Perlen has said that all of theirs had yellow spots, but unfortunately, they are also out of stock and possibly will not be getting them back because of the recall.  As for the purple zebra Muranos, those are slotted to be released in August in the UK, but even the black zebra print has been held back there.  Also, *finally* some information regarding the release of the Kiss Me, I’m Irish Murano – this one has also been expected for release with the fall/winter collection.  So some good things coming to the UK in the near future!

Why doesn’t the USA get special privilege Pandora charms only offered here in the USA like the Brits get to do?? :)

Hi Ashley, we do have beads that are only available in the US, like the looking glass collection and some colors of the hearts and ladybug Muranos. The black Friday bead from last year and we’ll be getting another one this year. :)

  2. Hi Leann!

Thanks for your information above! I didn’t know that the looking glass collection was actually only available in Northern America, (I say Northern America because Canada seems to be forgotten haha, but we have those too!). Do you know which colors are exclusive here?
And I also have a question that’s been bothering me but I’m not sure where in your blog I’d ask, but I currently have a 6.7 bracelet. (my wrists are so tiny to my disappointment. ): ), and I asked the lady in the Concept store if I should go up to a 7.1, since I bought a two tone and it’d be the same price for both and 7.1 could hold more beads. She said the 6.7 was actually perfect for me, and even I have to admit it’s not too lose, not too tight. The only problem I have with it is firstly, I feel it is very ‘circular’, when I look at other Ladies’ bracelets it’s more ‘loose’ in terms of shape on their wrist. Mine almost seems like a bangle? And mine only with 9 charms, appear to already be so full! Half! And that troubles me, as I see other bracelets with 9 and with lots of space. The Ladies have told me that from 6.7, and 7.1, there is only a 1-2 charm difference. I also have 3 muranos, I wanted 4 but I decided against it since I’m so paranoid I don’t have any room for charms. I was just hoping I’d get your opinion on the charm difference of the two sizes, and the shape on your wrist as well? Thanks so much for your wonderful blog I check every day, and I apologize for the long comment!

All the looking glass colors are unavailable elsewhere at this time; I’ve heard the UK will be getting 3 colors with the fall collection.
The size of your bracelet should depend on how loose or tight you like to have your bracelets – I started out with a 7.1″ because I liked my bracelets tight at the time, but once it was full it became *too* tight, so I switched up to a 7.5″ which is still loose but not enough to fall off my wrist. Some bracelets are very stiff and requires to be put on in a certain direction so you might rotate the chain a few times to see which side will feel the best (if that makes sense); once it wears in, it should loosen up. With my 7.1″ I was able to fit about ~18 charms, depends on how big the charms on, the dangles and spacers take up less room of course. If you think it’s already getting too tight, you should exchange it :) . If you have other questions, there’s a “Contact Us” link in the upper right.
