Since Pandora regularly retires charms and other jewelry, I thought I would highlight some the most popular retired charms (and some of my favorites) that I’ve managed to track down recently. I had wrote about the perfume bottle and thimble earlier, and I wanted to share a couple more retired charms that I’ve found for my green/orange bracelet.
I really like the non-dangle zodiac signs and managed to get my hands on one from my friend Cilia in Australia! I only have one out of the 12, the libra sign for myself. I’m thinking about tracking one down to represent my husband’s birthday, which is cancer but they’re getting harder and harder to find. Also from Australia is the dinosaur/dragon, it’s so cute! It looks like a T-Rex to me, not a dragon, but some catalogs list it as the dragon.
And the green/mauve spotty Murano – which is just gorgeous. There are 10 colors in total, with variations on some of the colors (I’ve seen variations on the pink/lime the most). This one is my favorite from the set; the rarest ones are the amber/white and the blue/lime which goes for over $200 each! Rachel Johns got these pretties from me; she’s been so helpful in helping me get retired charms! Pandora is huge in Australia and so they seem to have a lot of the charms around longer, many of which are not available in the US anymore . I also got a couple of the retired olive green CZ charms; the cathedral ceiling and the big bonsai which match the olive green oval lights. I am so in love with this shade of green, I’m so glad I’ve found enough charms to fit a bracelet around them.
I wish I’ve been collecting Pandora for longer; I would have been able to save a lot of money that way, lol. It’s fun getting them from all over the world though, I’ve made some great friends internationally!
