Usually Pandora does about two releases a year, in the spring and in the fall. But this year, we’ve got quite a few charms coming out during the summer for what I would call a mini-release. The first set of charms has already been released to the UK a couple weeks ago and has been selling like hotcakes – the Best of Britain trio: red, white, and blue Murano, double-decker bus, and the 2012 Olympic Medal. While the Olympic Medal is an UK country-exclusive, the swirls Murano – named the All-American for the US market and the double-decker bus will be available around July in stores here! My guess is that the All-American will be $35 and the double-decker bus will be around $50-60; the medal is £35. Perlen will be stocking these charms, to be available for sale on June 1st. I’m planning on getting these, but I still have no idea what to do with them! I guess I’ll figure something out .
The animal print Muranos are set to come out this June (which is only a couple weeks away) and I can’t wait! I’ve never been an animal print girl, but these have tickled my fancy. I’ve even started a safari themed bracelet in anticipation of these beads; there’s a spot reserved for the giraffe print and maybe the python, but it’ll depend on how the color looks with my other brown charms on the bracelet. I’ll probably get the whole set at some point, they’re so unique and different from each other.
The destinations charms or monuments will also be released around June/July this summer. These charms have so much detail, but a couple of them look quite bulky. They remind me of the original charm bracelets, and I wonder how big they actually are. The six monuments represent the US, UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, and France. The prices are out for the UK, these will be £35-39 and I’m guessing around $50USD, and all six should be available here in the US.
This will be a very exciting summer for us Pandora lovers! I’m glad there’s something to tide me over in between releases . Which charms are you looking forward to for the summer?
