I’m sure you guys are going to be more familiar with this collection when it comes out than the sales associates at the stores(!) but it really is different to see stock photos compared to “live action” shots. A lovely charms addict sent me these pictures of the new Pandora Spring/Summer 2012 collection live and in person! These are great pictures and really highlights the details and flourishes on the new charms.
You can really tell how big the new forever bloom dangles and dogwood clips are in comparison with the onyx dangle – more bang for the buck! That black forever bloom is actually spinel not onyx as it appears to be. It’s nice to see that the pink and blue love you charms have the nice metallic enamel so it must be the same one as the one that’s been a UK exclusive up to this season. The poppy is a less vibrant red than the other red enamel charms coming out this season, it looks more like a shade of vermilion – so pretty!
Look at the detail on the new picking daisies open works charm! With its low price point and the quality of these beads, it really seems that these are going to be a real winner for Pandora in the future. I will definitely be getting all three of the elemental clips (again, where is earth?!); the water clip reminds me of the blue bubbles and the wind clip reminds me of the encore clip but with a flair.
Oh man, look at the details on those new clips! Mmmm…
First look at the back of the much desired camera charm! It’s tiny, but you can see the detail definitely show this as a digital camera with a display pane. That’s also the forever bloom basket in the back as well, so dainty! The enamel dogwood dangles are huge. I’m thinking about getting the red one to match the red puzzle piece that I have coming (thanks Cilia van Zal!). Contrarily, the garden hat isn’t as big as I thought it would be, might have to get that one now.
I know some people aren’t happy with the styling of the Mother/Daughter pair dangle, but I actually like it. I don’t think the hearts are too spiky, the little bumps give the charm some texture in my opinion. For the first time, you can see the inscription on the base of the dangle – “YOU AND ME”. My mom’s favorite color is red so this is perfect! I don’t know if I’ll be able to bear only have one part of the charm, I might have to buy her another set. Haha.
This shot is perfect to compare the the new stepping stones Muranos to the gold mystic Muranos; as you can see they’re very similar! While the colors are slightly different – personally for the price difference ($270-$40=$230) I’ll settle for those! It looks like the white looking glass Murano is definitely white and not grayish, Pandora has heard the call for more white Muranos. Of course I’m going to get the green ones of both these collections. I was hoping that the kiss me I’m Irish Murano would be one of a set but it looks like it’s just on its own for now.
The love letter charm is adorable. It’s a bit wide (taking up valuable bracelet real estate!) but I think it’ll be worth it. The dragonfly is so detailed and looks like it has a lot of gold to justify the $180 price tag. I definitely want that butterfly two-tone dangle though, it kind of reminds me of the Christ charm in its delicacy.

OMG thank you so much for this post I can’t wait. You do awesome work
